5V LDO with Windowed Watchdo g
Description
The A6130, A6150, A6155 and A6250 are microprocessor
supervisory circuits including voltage monitoring, reset
timeout period, windowed watchdog functions and a 5V
low-dropout voltage regulator.
The watchdog timer, the reset timeout period and the
voltage threshold are externally set by resistors to provide
more flexibility.
Benefits
Detect events that are expected within a time interval
that has both a minimum and a maximum
Wherever software security is requested (e.g. to avoid
a second µP that supervises the master one, to
prevent endless loops, to re-initialize the system in
case of bad execution of softw are).
It combines voltage regulator and supervisory
functions in a single chip to reduce drastically PCB
size and mounting costs

Windowed watchdog function

Separate output enable for peripheral: the circuit waits
3 acknowledgements from µP to ensure full working
system before activation of peripheral (e.g. motor
drivers, actuators)
Sleep mode function (A6155): internal oscillator
generates TWD of 1 second
Power package: thermal resistor decreased by 4 (A6250)
High Flexibility and Accuracy
Adjustable reset threshold voltage with ±2% accura cy
Adjustable watchdog timer (TWD = 10ms to 1sec,
accuracy ±10%) using one external resistor
Adjustable reset timeout period TPOR using one
external resistor
